Carnaval de Rio de Janeiro

 In Rio de Janeiro Brazil , they celebrate Carnival of Rio de Janeiro, on friday and  wendesday of ceniza, last 6 days, begins at the end of Febrauary and ends at the beginning of March, this celebration is every year.

There is a parade of caravans,with typical music,colorful costumes.

Typical foods are Feijoada, Fricasé brasileiro,Salgadinhos, Meat and sausages in the form of flags 

The drinks are, the Carpinha

The objective of the carnival is to enjoy one last week of festivities before the 40 days of abstinence that end on easter,the day of the resurrection of Christ
